The Congregationalist Wiccan Association of British Columbia is a public Wiccan religious body, chartered as a non-profit Society with the province of British Columbia in 2004. It is a branch of the federally incorporated Congregationalist Witchcraft Association (1991).
The BC chapter of CWA was founded to provide Wiccan religious services and community to the general public in the province of British Columbia. It is not a coven or an association of covens, but a public religious body open to all interested people. The CWA-BC was also authorized by the province to license “religious representatives” to perform legal marriages as pf September 2004.
The Temples of the church provide regular public worship, on varying schedules but at a minimum of four times a year. No one needs to be a member of the church to attend public worship meetings. Temples are self-governing and they may worship the Gods and organize their activities however it suits them, subject only to our constitution and bylaws.
The church also sponsors other activities and events under its church umbrella including coffee meetings, family events, classes in Wiccan basics for children, youth and adults, and will train Priesthood to minister to our members.
